Ingredients

  • 2 x bananas (make sure they are nice and ripe for added flavour and sweetness)
  • 245g greek yoghurt
  • 2 tbsp almond butter
  • 3 thumb length slices ginger
  • 1 tsp turmeric
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tbsp manuka honey 
  • 125 ml water
  • Ice cubes (optional)

Method

Put all the ingredients into a bowl or jug. Add in the icecubes if using (this will make the smoothie cooler and thicker).

Using a stick blender, blend until smooth.

Divide between 2 glasses and serve with an extra pinch of turmeric sprinkled on top.
