Liquid Gold is Alpha-H’s number-one icon. It is formulated with glycolic acid, an alpha hydroxy acid that works to remove dead skin cells from the top layers of your skin in a gentle manner, leaving your complexion brighter. We recommend that you use this treatment on an evening after cleansing, 2-3 times per week. Simply apply it with a cotton pad and do not wash the treatment off after application. Glycolic acid can cause skin sensitivity, so do make sure you apply SPF the next day to avoid any reactions.
Is Alpha-H cruelty-free and vegan?
Alpha-H are a brand who is committed to providing formulas that are always ethical and responsibly tested. All their products are cruelty-free and the majority of their products are vegan, but we recommend you always check the ingredients for each product.
Are Alpha-H products suitable for sensitive skin?
Alpha-H do formulate their products with sensitive skin types in mind, however some of the actives they use including Glycolic Acid and Retinol may cause irritation due to their high potency. If you have sensitive skin or your skin reacts easily, we recommend that you introduce the products slowly into your routine. You can also do a patch test on a small area of your skin before applying fully to your face. If you want to be super careful, our experts suggest that you use products from Alpha-H’s sensitive ranges, like the Balancing Cleanser and the Vitamin E Serum.
