This earthy flour is made from ground chickpeas and is also known as gram flour, it is high in protein, magnesium, fibre and iron. Chickpea flour naturally contains no gluten. It’s pale yellow in colour and has a fine texture. This flour is widely used in Indian cookery – great for flatbreads, fritters and onion bhajis – and is best suited to savoury dishes.
