5. Homemade apple cider vinegar shots
You can’t simply sip apple cider vinegar raw, as it could burn your mouth and throat, so why not make your own apple cider vinegar shot?
This ACV shot serves 1, but can be modified to make in bulk.
- 75-100ml orange juice or pineapple juice
- 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar (with the mother)
- Simply combine the juice and vinegar in a small jar or bottle and give it a good old shake.
- Cover and leave in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.

- 15g fresh ginger
- Juice of half a lemon
- 1 teaspoon of honey
- Peel the ginger and roughly chop before adding to your blender and blitzing for a few seconds.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Cover and leave in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
- Drink your yummy lemon ginger shot when you’re ready.

How do immunity shots work?
For a shot to be called an ‘immunity shot’, it should contain ingredients that support your natural immunity.
It works to ensure your immune system is functioning properly.
Try this lemon, ginger & turmeric shot recipe (makes 1 shot – but can modified to make in bulk):
- Half a small orange
- 1 small lemon
- 1 tbsp fresh ginger
- 1 tbsp fresh turmeric
- A pinch of black pepper
- A dash of extra virgin olive oil
- Peel the ginger and roughly chop before adding to your blender and blitzing for a few seconds.
- Add in the rest of the ingredients and blend until smooth.
- Cover and leave in the fridge for up to 2-3 days.
- Drink your tasty immunity-supporting shot when you’re ready.
