At the core of every MacuShield product is LMZ3 - our blend of Lutein (10mg), Zeaxanthin (2mg), and Meso-zeaxanthin (10mg) - the three macular carotenoids found naturally in the back of the eye. These nutrients form the macular pigment, which plays a role in detailed, central vision. The body can't make macular carotenoids, so we have to consume them through our diet - typically from leafy greens and seafood.
