Nytol One-A-Night Herbal Tablets 21 Tablets

Nytol Herbal Simply Sleep One-A-Night Tablets are a traditional herbal remedy containing Valerian root extract, used for the occasional relief of sleeplessness. Valerian is traditionally used for its sleep-inducing properties, to aid a restful night's sleep. It contains a higher dose of Valerian than our other herbal tablets and is in a convenient one tablet dose. Nytol Herbal Simply Sleep One-A-Night Tablets contain Valerian root extract. A traditional herbal medicinal product for use in the temporary relief of sleep disturbances exclusively based upon long-standing use as a traditional remedy. Always read the leaflet.

• Based on natural active ingredients: Contains Valerian root extract which has calming effects based upon long-standing use as a traditional remedy.
• Convenient one tablet a night dose: Take one tablet 30 to 60 minutes before bedtime, which is used to help relieve sleeplessness.

Full ingredients

The active substance per tablet is:

Dry extract from Valerian root 385mg (Valeriana officinalis

L.) (equivalent to 1.54-1.93g of Valerian root) Extraction

solvent: Ethanol 60% v/v Excipients: Maltodextrin,

Colloidal Anhydrous Silica.

The other ingredients are:

Core: Croscarmellose Sodium, Magnesium Stearate,

Silicified Microcrystalline Cellulose, Talc and

Silicon Dioxide.

Coating: Hypromellose, Talc, Titanium Dioxide, Macrogol,

Saccharine Sodium.

This medicine contains less than 1 mmol sodium (23 mg)

per tablet dose, that is to say essentially "sodium-free".

Advisory Information:

Do not take if you are taking any other medicine for sleep or if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Nytol Herbal One-A-Night tablets are not recommended for use during pregnancy or when breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine. If you feel sleepy, do not drive or operate machines. Alcohol may increase the sedative effect. Excessive alcohol consumption should be avoided. Do not store above 25°C. Do not use if foil strip is damaged. Store in the original package. KEEP OUT OF THE SIGHT AND REACH OF CHILDREN.

Like all medicines, this product can have side-effects, although not everybody gets them. The following side effects have been reported: • Nausea (feeling sick) • Vomiting • Abdominal Cramps • Abdominal pain • Diarrhoea • Dizziness • Headache • Nightmares or vivid dreams If these persist for more than a few days or become troublesome, stop taking this product. Directions:

The recommended dose is one tablet 30 to 60 minutes before bedtime. If necessary, one additional tablet may be taken earlier in the evening. Do not take more than the leaflet tells you to.
