For silent mode, press both the front and the back buttons at the same time, if preferred. Hold the multi-purpose thermometer close to the forehead without touching, adjust the angle until the OK signal appears, then press the back button to measure. You’ll see the accurate reading in 1 second. Press the memory button to check the previous results. To check the temperature of liquid in the bottle, place the Gentle Temp 730 at a short distance from the bottle without touching it, then press to start the measurement.
