How To Use:

Remove tight or thick clothing from your upper arm; do not place the cuff over thick garments or roll up a sleeve so it becomes tight. Sit upright with your back straight and feet flat on the floor. Position yourself so your arm rests on a table at the same level as your heart; the gap between the chair and tabletop should be 25–30 cm.

Insert the air plug into the air jack on the left side of the main unit. Put your left arm through the cuff loop so the air tube runs down the inside of your forearm, in line with your middle finger. Position the bottom of the cuff approximately 1–2 cm above your elbow. Ensure the cuff marker (arrow under the tube) is centred on the middle of your inner arm and points down the inside of the arm.

Press the O/I START button to turn the unit on; the cuff will inflate automatically. Remain still and do not talk during measurement. Inflation stops and measurement occurs during deflation; the heartbeat symbol will flash with each heartbeat.
