Tzatziki FAQs

How long can you keep homemade green tzatziki dip?

This dip can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to two days. Though, as it contains avocado, it’s best enjoyed fresh for the brightest colour and flavour.

Can I make tzatziki ahead of time?

Yes, you can prepare the dip a few hours in advance and keep it chilled until serving. To help maintain freshness, cover the surface directly with cling film to minimise exposure to air.

What can I serve with tzatziki?

This dip pairs perfectly with toasted pita bread, carrot and cucumber sticks, but also works well with crackers, celery, radishes or as a spread in wraps and sandwiches.

Is Greek yoghurt a good base for dips?

Greek yoghurt is an excellent base for dips thanks to its thick, creamy texture and naturally high-protein content. It adds richness while keeping the dip light and refreshing.

Can I use other green powders?

Yes – most green powders will work in this recipe, though the flavour may vary slightly between brands. For help deciding, check out what to look for and which to choose with our top green powders.
